In this episode, Pilar gets behind the microphone to share one of the greatest joy of podcasting: gaining new insights as you record.
We can spend ages thinking about our podcast, but at some point, we have to start.
This is the first podcast Pilar starts without following a plan, but she has so many recordings coming up over the next few days, that she’d like to capture what she learns from them in some way. And, as she’s been thinking about starting this podcast for over a year, it’s now time to start.
(This is not recommended if it’s your first show, there are too many pieces to juggle. If it’s your first show, plan it before you start recording.)
In this episode, Pilar talks about her recording with Simon, another facilitator. She shares how through the conversation she learned a lot, and that’s one of the reasons she continues podcasting. Through conversations with others (whether they’re real people behind the microphone, or imaginary ones, like you, the listener), she has new insights and makes new connections between concepts and ideas.
(If you’ve fallen in love with podcasting too and need some help to get started, get in touch or use this book to plan your show.)
